“Star Power” grand winner Angeline Quinto earned the most nominations for the 3rd Tambayan OPM Awards or TOPMA with five nods, including Female Artist of the Year and Best New Artist.
ABS-CBN’s FM station in Mega Manila Tambayan 101.9 announced the nominees on Monday as it formally opens the text voting to the public to determine this year's winners.
Quinto will compete with Sarah Geronimo, Liezel Garcia, Toni Gonzaga and Juris for Female Artist of the Year, while the other nominees for Best New Artist are Paula Bianca, Bryan Termulo, Zia Quizon and JM De Guzman.
Balladeer Erik Santos and comedian Vice Ganda garnered three nominations each, and both are up for Male Artist of the Year along with Sam Milby, Christian Bautista and former Sugarfree lead vocalist Ebe Dancel.
Santos’s album “Awit Para Sa ‘Yo” is nominated for Album of the Year, along with “Patuloy Ang Pangarap’ by Angeline Quinto, “I’m Already King” by Christian Bautista and “Dalawang Mukha Ng Pag-ibig” by Ebe Dancel.
The nominees for Song of the Yer are “Patuloy Ang Pangarap” by Angeline Quinto, “Gisingin Ang Puso” by Liezel Garcia, “Tinamaan Ako” by Anne Curtis, “Kulang Ako Kung Wala Ka” by Erik Santos, “Porque” by Maldita and “Halik” by Kamikazee.
