Actor Gerald Anderson has admitted that he and pop star princess Sarah Geronimo are now past the “getting to know you stage.”

Anderson said he and Geronimo are just cherishing every moment they have.
“So 'yung feeling na ito is something that I would cherish, no pressure. Walang pressure sa kanya, walang pressure sa akin, we are just happy, happy kami. Lumampas na kami dun sa getting-to-know-each-other pero mas gusto pa namin makilala ang isa’t isa. Sobrang napakaswerte ko talaga na nakilala ko siya,” he said.
The actor also advised Geronimo not to mind those who are sending her death threats because of their closeness.
Anderson said it is just normal for some fans to not like the people whom celebrities choose personally.
“Siyempre po napagdaanan ko na 'yan. Para sa akin huwag masyadong mag-dwell sa ganung klaseng threat, sa ganung klaseng sitwasyon. I guess by now expected na rin kahit ayaw natin, siguro sa ngayon wala tayong magagawa,” he said.
Meanwhile, Anderson reacted to Geronimo’s statements saying it is only now that she met someone who gives so much respect for her parents.
“Alam mo actually nakakagulat 'yan kasi unang-una 'yun ang tamang paraan. Pangalawa sobrang marespeto talaga ako sa nanay niya, sa tatay niya, sa buong pamilya niya… I am just really very thankful for everything na nakilala ko siya na nakapagbigay ako ng kahit konting inspirasyon sa kanya, sobrang thankful ako dun,” he said.
Anderson, however, said they Geronimo still has a lot of priorities so he will just be behind her all the way.
“Si Sarah marami po siyang goals sa buhay niya, marami pa siyang gustong gawin and para sa akin I will try my best na suportahan siya and that all I can ask for,” he said.
