After being paired with each other onscreen numerous times, is a special relationship developing between actress Angelica Panganiban and actor Piolo Pascual?
After their recent team-up for romantic-comedy film "Every Breath U Take," Panganiban and Pascual are teaming up anew in ABS-CBN's next big project, "Apoy sa Dagat."
Eight years since their first team-up for the TV series "Mangarap Ka," Panganiban admitted she has become very comfortable working with Pascual.
But is there anything more to their relationship than friendship?
"Ang alam ko kasi approve sakin si Iñigo (Pascual's son), nasa labas siya. Nagna-nod siya," Panganiban said in jest, when asked about their relationship.
The young actress, however, quickly clarified that their friendship has only served to better their working relationship.
"Si Papa P kasi, sobra akong komportable makasama siya at makatrabaho. Hindi ako nahihiya sa kanya. Sobrang kapal na nga ng mukha ko 'pag kasama ko siya. May ganoon siyang personality eh. Sobra kang magiging relaxed, 'di ka kakabahan," Panganiban said.

For their latest project together, Panganiban even confirmed that she and Pascual will bare more skin than usual, as the new soap will prominently feature the sea as its setting.
Pascual, on the other hand, is excited to train for his role, which will require diving into deep waters sans any gear.
"I'm doing free diving, skindiving. Walang gear kasi maninisid kami dito. Medyo mas mahirap pero mas exciting, kaysa 'yung marami kang suot," Pascual said.
"I'm excited dahil napakalaking proyekto. I'm excited to train sa dagat, sa tubig," he added.
According to Pascual, filming for the series will start next week, in time for its primetime debut later this year.
Joining him and Panganiban in the cast of "Apoy sa Dagat" are Diether Ocampo, Angel Aquino, Liza Lorena and Sylvia Sanchez.
