Tito Dolphy The Comedy king Pumanaw na

In a Breaking News report on ABS-CBN news Tuesday night, July 10, Sol Aragones reported that the Philippines King of Comedy Dolphy passed away at the age of 83. This was confirmed through his partner Zsa Zsa Padilla. Even though Zsa Zsa and the Quizon family have yet to issue a formal statement regarding further details of his death, the entire country mourns the passing of a national treasure. Reports say Dolphy passed away at around 8:34 pm. The acting legend had been suffering from a condition called Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) which is a long-term progressive disease of the lungs.
 
Although the news report was aired at 9 pm, the Twitter world was already flooded with celebrities tweeting messages of condolences and heartfelt sentiments regarding the Comedy King, whose real name is Rodolfo Vera Quizon, Sr. Vice Ganda tweeted, “Lord we thank you for giving us THE DOLPHY who unselfishly and passionately dedicated his whole life to make this world happy. Amen.” Iza Calzado wrote, “Sending Love and Light to the soul of the King of Comedy, Dolphy. Rest in Peace. Praying for strength for Zsa Zsa Padilla, Zia Quizon & family.” Walang Hanggan’s Julia Montes also shared her sentiments about Dolphy.  “Comedy king ;( so sad my dream will not be come true.. To work with the best ... My prayers for the comedy king and his family.” 
 
In the 9:20 pm ABS-CBN news report, reporter Jenny Reyes shares that more and more news reporters continue to wait outside the Makati Medical Center in the hopes that a family member or hospital representative can provide them with a statement regarding Dolphy’s passing.
