Pop Superstar Angeline Quinto will portray the role of Bagobo native in her first-ever “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode this Saturday (August 11).
Angeline Quinto will play the role of Carina, a native of the Bagobo tribe who fell in love with a good-looking Ilonggo named Ariel (portrayed by Jason Abalos). Aside from Ariel’s family who is against their love affair, the cultural differences between Carina and the man she loves will complicate issues in their relationship. Will their love survive despite all hindrances and challenges? Aside from Angeline and Jason, the “MMK” episode will also star Alex Castro, Arie Reyes, Tanya Gomez, Bing Davao, Eva Darren, Tom Olivar, Isabel Lopez, Girlie Alcantara, and Izzy CaniIlo. It will also be the acting debut of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Editon 4 ex-housemates Alec Dungo and Roy Requejo.
Meanwhile, Angeline’s first movie, “Born to Love You” is now available on original DVDs and VCDs at video stores and record bars nationwide.
