Young superstar Judy Ann Santos only has good words for young actor Gerald Anderson after his try at winning the heart of Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo.
Only weeks after Anderson was reported to have stopped wooing Geronimo, Santos, a known confidant of the pop singer, aired her take on the recent turn of events, but chose to withhold "judgment" on the "Budoy" star.
"With Gerald, I am not in a position to judge him kung ano ang pinagdaanan niya," Santos told Hot Pinoy Showbiz. "But I salute him, you know. I am sure his intentions are clean for him to face Sarah’s parents and be brave enough to go to Sarah’s house, nakakabilib."
Anderson, who started courting Geronimo in February, was given credit by the the singer's parents for having visited their daughter in their home on a number of occasions -- a gesture, which, according to them, has become more of an exception than the norm.
In late July, however, Anderson and Geronimo were reported to have ended their blooming relationship. The pop star also turned emotional during an episode of her concert variety program "Sarah G Live" when she spoke of almost finding love.
In time
Of the recent turns in the personal life of her "sister" in showbiz, Santos said now may simply not be the time for Geronimo and Anderson to be in a relationship.
Hindi lang siguro this year, maybe next year," Santos said.
"Next year, baka kung mas mag-mature sila pareho.
The young superstar also advised the 24-year-old singer to allow time for herself to recuperate from the demands of her career.
So bago ka muna dumating doon, mag-relax ka muna," Santos said.
