Daniel Padilla's mom still dreams of getting married

Actress Karla Estrada, mother of young actor Daniel Padilla, believes that it is never too late to walk down the aisle.

Estrada, mother of four children by different men, said she still hopes to get married.

“Oo naman kasi parang ‘yun na lang ang kulang sa buhay ko,” she said in an interview on ABS-CBN morning talk show “Kris TV” on Friday.

“Kasi parang hindi kumpleto bilang nagkaanak naman ako ng apat. Wish lang ‘yon,” she added.

Estrada admitted, however, that all of her children do not want her to tie the knot.

“’Yung two boys ko, actually silang lahat ayaw nila. Pero siguro darating sa tamang oras, sa edad nila maiintindihan. Lalo na ‘yung dalawang girls ko, ‘Mama, no boyfriend. You are not going to get married.’ ‘Yung dalawang boys ko naman, ‘O Mama, ayusin mo ‘yan, bubugbugin naming ‘yan.’ So laging may pressure sa akin,” she said.

But the actress is not losing hope. “Para sa akin siguro, darating ‘yung time.”

Estrada, a former singer, gave birth to Daniel by Rommel Padilla when she was only 19.

Daniel admitted that he once got into a fight with a schoolmate who made negative remarks about his mother.

“Sinabi niya (schoolmate) bigla na malandi ang nanay ko, kasi iba-iba ang tatay naming magkapatid,” Daniel told StarStudio magazine in its August 2012 issue.
