Actor Enrique Gil revealed that ABS-CBN's hit series "Princess and I" is nearing its end.
"Sa pagkakaalam ko po wala pong (book 2) at matatapos na po ang 'Princess and I.' But who knows? Malay mo kapag gusto talaga ng tao they can make a part two ng 'Princess and I' but sa ngayon alam ko matatapos na," Enrique told ABS-CBNnews.com during a press conference for the horror movie "Amorosa" with Angel Aquino.
Gil said the soap has already been extended and that it might end on October.
"Ang sinabi sa akin ay by October (tapos na). Actually extended na po kami. In a way ay okay na po 'yon," he said.
In the series, Gil plays the character of a prince who falls for the long-lost princess played by Kathryn Bernardo.
As early as now, the actor said will surely miss the whole cast of the soap.
Getting tired?
In the interview, Gil who has been very busy with numerous showbiz commitments, admitted that there are times when he feels really tired.
Gil pointed out that he's been working every day -- including Sundays for "ASAP 2012."
But what's important now, he said, is that he's so blessed with the many projects that are coming his way.
"I think that keeps me going, work, better work. Pero 'yun nga sometimes naiisip mo may sakit na ako, pero wala (akong magawa kasi) may deadline," he said.
"You don't wanna pray na mawala ang work; you just wanna pray na kahit isang araw lang na break. Pero wala dahil sa sobrang busy nga 'yung regalo ni Bro sa iyo. Well, you get it naman. Dire-diretso kasi may point din naman na magpapahinga ka so tiis-tiis lang muna," he said.
Aside from promoting "Amorosa," Gil is also doing a horror film under Quantum Films with Julia Montes.
His movie, "The Reunion," is now on its second week in theaters nationwide.
