Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo has not closed her doors on working again with Piolo Pascual though not in the near future---as she has been saying for years now.
"Mangyayari naman din 'yon, hindi ba? Basta 'pag nakapag-usap na naman, matagal na rin naman na 'yon. Darating talaga 'yung punto na magsasama-sama kayo, one way or another. Ang sinasabi nga lang, hindi na muna," Judy Ann told "The Buzz" in a taped interview aired on Aug. 5.
Recall that the gap between the once-popular love team was said to have started around the time they worked on the Star Cinema-produced movie, "Don't Give Up On Us" back in 2006. Rumor had it that Judy Ann's then-boyfriend-now-husband Ryan Agoncillo had asked Star Cinema to edit out all of the onscreen couple's kissing scenes in the film.
Although Ryan had denied making such a "demand," talk further intensified when Piolo reportedly made a comment about the former's relationship with Judy Ann. This, in turn, annoyed Agoncillo which prompted him to write an open letter to the press.
A part of this read, as quoted in a November 2007 report by Hot Pinoy Showbiz, "I just have this today. Next time I see him, I'll put him in his place."
Eventually, the two men were able to bury the hatchet at the wake of former actor and actress Maja Salvador's father Ross Rival on Nov. 19, 2007.
About six years after the squabble, Judy Ann is now open to working again with Piolo---provided that "kumbaga maayos na project, at the right time, with the right director and the right script... maybe
"As of now I can say it's not impossible. It might happen," the award-winning actress said in the "Buzz" interview.
