Karylle Padilla turns emotional on Showtime

A comedy acting segment on noontime variety program "It's Showtime" shifted gears when an impromptu scene moved singer-host Karylle to tears.

During the noontime show's live telecast on Friday, its impromptu acting segment "Sine Mo 'To" saw one of its hosts Teddy Corpuz "confronting" his friends, portrayed by other hosts of "It's Showtime."

Approaching Karylle, who played "Amy," Corpuz's "acting" turned personal as he recalled sending text messages to the singer.

"Gusto kong sabihin sa'yo, gusto kong malaman mo na, lahat 'yun totoo," Corpuz told Karylle, who had been in character for the segment until her fellow host's show of affection.

"Nandito kami ng mga kaibigan mo para sa'yo, sa lahat ng mga pinagdadaanan mo sa buhay," Corpuz added, before proceeding to hug Karylle, who was seen shedding a tear.
