Sarah Lahbati revealed, during an interview on StarTalk TX last August 5, 2012, the sweet things that her Makapiling Kang Muli leading man Richard Gutierrez has done for her. According to Sarah, Richard would often visit her at work to give her food. “There are times na dumadalaw siya habang nag-re-rehearse ako ng Party Pilipinas. Kahit sino’ng tanungin ninyo na nakatrabaho niya, masasabi talaga nilang he’s very caring and supportive,” she praised. Sarah also revealed how kind and generous Richard is towards the staff and crew of Makapiling Kang Muli. “Basta sa taping, lagi siyang may dalang food for everyone, and sweets, because all the time puyat kami and tired. So, kumbaga, ayun, ginigising niya kami sa matatamis na pagkain na dala niya,” she joked.
It seems as if Richard and Sarah have taken their close friendship to the next level because Richard has already met Sarah’s parents and vice-versa! “I met Richard’s parents at Ate Ruffa’s birthday party. I met yung mga brothers niya and yung sister and they’re all super-kind and friendly,” shared Sarah.
The Kapuso actress was happy to report that her family is fond of Richard, too. “They really like Chard. Kasi si daddy, actually, nagkasundo agad sila dahil nanonood siya ng Pinoy Adventures,” Sarah revealed. “Eh si daddy, very adventurous and sporty. So nung dumalaw sa taping mga two months ago, ang dami nilang napag-usapan, and nagkasundo agad sila. And si mommy, na-meet niya rin sa taping and sa ibang mga events and nagkasundo din sila.” Could this all just be publicity for their teleserye? Or are Richard and Sarah really beginning to fall for each other?
