Actor Enchong Dee said he is sticking to his promise that he will wait until young actress Julia Montes turns 18 in March next year amid speculations that he has stopped pursuing the "Walang Hanggang" star.
In an interview with "KrisTV" on Wednesday, Dee said this is the promise he made to Montes's mother and grandmother.
Dee was visibly irked by those who are speculating on his intentions for Montes, as he appealed to the public to give them time to enjoy themselves.
"Maraming gumugulo na biglang kami na o tapos na," Dee complained about those who are telling him to move on with his life.
"Marami pang magandang mangyayari within five months (bago March). it's going to be my birthday, Christmas, her birthday, New Year, may Valentines pa. So hindi pwedeng sabihin na wala (na) o mag move on. Kasi ang daming may version, ang daming gumugulo, so just to end it," Dee said.
Last June, Montes' grandmother, Flory Hautea, publicly announced that Dee is pursuing the actress.
Asked if she approves of Dee for her granddaughter, Hautea replied: "Pwede na din."
