Jodi Sta. Maria to comment on Jolo Revilla and Ronald Jay Lacson clash

Actress Jodi Sta. Maria is maintaining a safe distance from the political showdown of her rumored boyfriend Jolo Revilla and Ronald Jay Lacson, the brother of her estranged husband.

"I don't want to comment on that," Sta. Maria told ABS-CBN News when asked on her thoughts about the vice-gubernatorial bid of Lacson and Revilla.

Lacson earlier disclosed to ABS-CBN News his plan to run for Cavite vice governor in next year's elections.

Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. likewise confirmed to ABS-CBN News his son's plans to run for the same position.

In March 2011, Sen. Panfilo Lacson confirmed the separation of Sta. Maria and his son Pampi, seven months after the two were first reported to have been estranged.

The Kapamilya actress has one son with Pampi named Thirdy.

More than a year since the confirmation of her failed marriage, Sta. Maria is now rumored to be in a relationship with Jolo, who she referred to as "someone special" early this month on the showbiz-oriented talk show "The Buzz."

Sta. Maria, however, is cautious not to reveal details about her rumored relationship with the younger Revilla.

"Well, whatever was said sa interview sa 'The Buzz,' 'yun na 'yun. I don't want to elaborate tungkol doon. I'm a very private person talaga. Whatever it is, [sa akin nalang 'yun]," she said.
