Nadia Montenegro and Gretchen Barretto reconcile at Dolphy's wake

DOLPHY WOULD HAVE LOVED IT. “It felt good. I'm sure Tito Dolphy would have loved it,” sabi ni Nadia.

Two years na raw ang nakararaan nang magkita sila ni Gretchen, kaya't natuwa siyang makita muli ang kaibigan.

“Last time kasi I saw Gretchen was at the wake of Tito Douglas [Quijano], and unfortunately, dito ulit kami nagkita after two years,” paliwanag niya.

Did she expect to reconcile with Gretchen?

“We just never had the chance to see each other talaga,” sagot ni Nadia.

“And all these years, all this time, even if we had a falling out, kahit na nagkaroon kami ng tampuhan a few years ago, she was always in contact with my family every day.

"She would always check on the kids, and talagang wala lang kaming chance na magkita.”

Dagdag pa niya, “But you know, Gretchen and I, we go way back since grade school. Wala pang showbiz so, all's well [that] ends well.”

GRATEFUL TO DOLPHY.

“Kay Tito Dolphy, wala, thank you, thank you sa lahat."Thank you for the laughter, thank you for inspiring all of us. Thank you for being such a great, great role model sa bawat artista,” sabi ni Nadia.

Kasi in some way, nakaka-relate ako kay Zsa Zsa, yung loving somebody na doble ng edad mo, yung possibilities of loving a man so great like Tito Dolphy.

"Ang dami… nakaka-relate ako kay Zsa Zsa [dealing with] children from ano, different families, and [facing] all these tragedies in life,” sabi niya.

How will she remember Dolphy?

“Just like what everybody said, when you see Tito Dolphy, he's one person na when he walks in a room, alam mo yung everybody is quiet, yung in awe na respeto.

"Yun yung una mong aanuhin kay Tito Dolphy, respeto.

"Anywhere you see him, kahit saang restaurant, kahit saang lugar. Yung talagang, yung bati niya ramdam mong sinsero talaga,” kuwento ni Nadia.
