"Regine Velasquez is a woman of many things—perhaps the most popular one being Asia’s songbird and of course next to that, a loving wife to an equally talented songster Ogie Alcasid. But one more label slowly standing out for the 42-year old singer is being a first-time mother to her now 9-month old baby Nate. In the September issue of Smart Parenting, Regine talks about her journey to motherhood and more.
"It was a rollercoaster of events for Regine, from her first trimester all the way until she gave birth to her beautiful baby boy. The pregnancy also brought her and Ogie even closer together—enjoying each other’s precious time and company with one another.
