Xian Lim refuted the circulating rumors that he and Kim Chiu are more than friends, but have no commitment to each other. He explained that some people merely assumed it probably because of their closeness. “Wala akong sinabing ganon. Nagkataon lang na may naisulat tungkol dun tapos ni-retweet lang ng mga followers. Sabi ko nga, let them think what they want to think. Kasi kung papangunahan nila, ang hirap lagi mag-explain ng sarili.”
From the looks of it, he wanted to keep his courtship of Kim as low key as possible. In fact, he seemed uncomfortable when Kim revealed that he gave her a Prada bag two months ago. “Huwag na natin ispecify kung anong binibigay natin. The stories behind kahit ano pa man ‘yan, it’s the thought na gusto ko lang malaman niya na palagi siya sa isip ko. Ganon naman yun e. As for the status of their relationship, Xian said that it’s the same as before, “Patuloy kung sinasabi na I’m always here to make her feel special. All throughout, if she needs a helping hand and an open ear, I’ll be here.”
