In an interview on “The Buzz” on Sunday, October 28, John Lloyd admitted described their relationship as “beyond happiness.”
Unexpected
“It’s something na hindi namin ini-expect. Parang bigla na lang ‘Saan galing ito, saan galing iyon? Parang suddenly it’s magic. But seriously, iyon talaga ang nangyari.”
The star of “A Beautiful Affair” shared that he and Angelica have known each other for the longest time. But there came a point when he saw Angelica “in a different light.”
Angelica's photos in Instagram, including the one with John Lloyd captioned “A Perfect Sunday,” hinted about the real score between them.
But even if he didn’t admit their relationship at once, John Lloyd said that they had no intention to hide whatever they have from the public.
“Wala naman kaming tinatago, wala naman kaming dapat pagtaguan or paglihiman. Hindi naman kami para umiwas sa tanong. Kung may nagtanong, 'Opo kami po. Pero sa pagbibigay ng detalye doon kami medyo hindi (kumportable),” he said.
After John Lloyd’s interview on “The Buzz,” Angelica’s Twitter post read, “Bakit lahat masaya? Nakakapanibago.. :).”
Positive effect
Before his interview on “The Buzz,” John Lloyd said at the press conference of “A Beautiful Affair,” his new teleserye with Bea Alonzo, that Angelica has a positive effect on him.
“Without any comparison, ngayon alam mo na kung may iniisip kang gawin or maging, hindi magiging hindrance yung relasyon. Alam mo na pwede mong ma-achieve yung maximum potential mo bilang individual, sa kaso ko bilang actor, kung ano yung dindemand ng isang family member, kung ano yung gusto kong ma-achieve as individual.”
Asked what makes him happy, John Lloyd replied, “More than anything, kung paano kami as partners, yung companionship yung talagang tinitreasure mo. Siguro iyon yung meron kami kaya siguro ako ganito, na sa tingin niyo nagba-blush ako at maganda ang ngiti ko, kasi lahat maganda, lahat masaya.”
