ACTRESS Marian Rivera said she is excited with her upcoming primetime series "Temptation of Wife," the local adaptation of the hit Korean series with same title.
She will star opposite Glaiza de Castro, Dennis Trillo and the newest GMA-7 leading man Rafael Rosell.
Marian said that this is a new challenge for her because it's her first time to portray a weakling role who will soon find her strength through the adversities of life.
"First time kong gagawin yung heavy drama na meron asawa na may mangaagawa. Aapihin talaga ako sobra at hindi lang isa, kundi marami sila dito," she said in a television interview. "Nae-excite ako na from api-apihan, losyang, mabait hanggang lalaban siya at gaganda talaga siya."
Marian is also looking forward to share the small screen with Rafael. It's her first time to work with him.
"Nagbonding na kami pero hindi pa ako nagkaroon ng pagkakataon na umarte na magkasabay, pero sigurado ako na aalalayan ko siya at ganun naman din siya sa akin," she said.
Aside from the said series, Marian will also try her hand in reality television as she's set to host "Extra Challenge" with GMA-7 leading man Richard Gutierrez.
Marian said she's thrilled with this particular show because she saw the process on how the challenges will be performed and what in store for its avid viewers.
Meanwhile, the actress also spoke of her latest encounter with fellow GMA actress Heart Evangelista during the "Dolphy Alay Tawa" musical event at the Mall of Asia Arena.
"Ok lahat. Yung mga ganun ayaw ko na din pag-usapan. Kung nangyari man yun, nangyari na. Okay na yun. Dapat lang naman talaga positive lahat, ano pa bang hihilingin ko," she said.
To recall, Marian and Heart reportedly had a feud while doing the 2011 Regal Film's comedy-drama "Temptation Island". News came out that they had an altercation at an airport, which also involved Heart's mom.
