The Kapamilya hunk and the primetime princess, who were once real-life sweethearts, will be working together in an upcoming romantic-comedy entitled 24/7 in Love. The movie marks the reunion of the popular tandem last seen in the 2010 flick Till My Heartaches End.
Kim said she is happy to be working again with Gerald. “Sobrang gaan, sobrang saya, tawanan lang kami nang tawanan sa mga jokes na binabato naming sa isa’t isa,” the actress revealed in an interview aired on The Buzz last Sunday.
Kim said that she no longer harbors negative feelings towards her former onscreen partner. She also described their reunion project as a “fresh start.“ “Nakakatuwa kasi after two years, parang fresh start talaga. Nawala ang hinanakit namin sa isa’t isa,” she shared. “Super friends na kami,” Kim declared. “Pag nagkakakuwentuhan kami pinagkukuwentuhan din namin ang mga nangyari noon, tawanan lang kami ng tawanan.”
In the movie, Gerald takes on the role of a call boy/macho dancer who comes between his regular customer, portrayed by comedienne Pokwang, and Pokwang’s daughter, portrayed by Chiu. The movie opens in theaters on November 21.
