Although currently busy with tapings for the top-rated Primetime Bida series Ina, Kapatid, Anak, Enchong Dee said he would also be busy with his upcoming movie project with Eugene Domingo which has the working title Tuhog. Hindi rin kami nagkaroon ng eksena together there at all,” he shared.
Aside from Eugene, the only other confirmed cast member that Enchong could reveal was Empress who was present at the movie’s story conference. So far kami pa lang ni Ate Uge at Empress yung nandito, yung isa malalaman pa lang namin sa day of shooting,” he said.
Although the title is similar to a 2001 film directed by Jeffrey Jeturian, Enchong said that his new project will not be a remake or any way connected to the earlier film. He shared that this Star Cinema project is set to start filming early next year.
The film will be a different kind of acting challenge for the 24-year-old actor. “Sabi ni Ate Uge it’s going to be a black comedy, a dark comedy.
Enchong said he can’t wait to tackle a new kind of character in the film as well as work with a talented cast and crew. “Marami kasi yung cast so marami yung puwede ibigay dito sa panibagong pelikula nagagawin namin and nakakatuwa kasi ang tagal-tagal ko ng wini-wish na sana makasama ko ulit si Ate Uge and finally ngayon makakasama ko na talaga siya and may eksena kami together kaya excited ako gawin yun,” he said.
