Kathryn Bernardo on Daniel Padilla: ‘Para sa akin, pag kayo, kayo’

Kathryn Bernardo admitted that 2012 has been a good year for her. The pretty teen actress said she wishes for nothing but more blessings to come her way next year. “Mga positive vibes, na sana mag-tuloy-tuloy yung blessings, yung health sana okay ng buong family at ng lahat. At saka sana mas mag-improve pa yung mga nangyayari ngayon,” she said.

Kathryn said she is happy playing teenybopper roles and is not ready to change her youthful image just yet. “Siguro mas mature lang masasabi ko pero hindi pa yung mga change image na ibang-iba na sa Kathryn ngayon kasi para sa akin, hindi ko pa rin kaya kasi 16 pa lang ako. So feeling ko kung ano yung age ko, yun lang yung sagot ko, tama lang,” she explained.

After she and Daniel Padilla were included in the cast of 24/7 In Love, Kathryn said they did not think of the pressure of being a successful love team. “Hindi naman siguro. Siyempre may pressure pero kami hindi namin talaga iniisip yun. Basta ginagawa namin yung trabaho namin, yun lang,” she admitted.

Although rumors have it that they are already more than just friends, Kathryn clarified that their friendship is just stronger than before. “Siguro tight, tight yung friendship namin and mas nakikilala ko na siya ngayon. Yung friendship namin ni DJ makikita niyo yan sa Sisterakas for MMFF (Metro Manila Film Fest) namin gagawin yun at saka meron din kaming upcoming movie next year, yun ang abangan din nila,” she shared.

Fans of the KathNiel love team are also waiting for the day when the two would officially be in a relationship but Kathryn would rather laugh off the issue. She said that she and Daniel are both busy with their respective careers and are just enjoying each other’s company while working together. She said she is not worried that all the hype about the two of them would affect their budding romance. “Hindi ko rin alam (laughs). Tingnan natin. Hindi pa, hindi pa talaga. Dito lang muna tayo ngayon. Para sa akin, pag kayo, kayo so wala namang i-wo-worry kung maudlot man or something ‘di ba? Let’s just wait and see,” she said.

Kathryn also shared that she has also started getting interested in Daniel’s newest hobby which is airsoft. “Mahilig siyang mag-airsoft, yun yung bago ko sa kanyang nalaman. Parang basta yun yung addiction niya ngayon eh, yung airsoft talaga,” she shared.

Kathryn said that DJ has also shared his hobby with her but she is not at the point where she has an interest in shooting airsoft guns yet. “Ako natuto na ako humawak nung airsoft gun pero medyo sablay pa rin (laughs),” she revealed.
