Kathryn Bernardo, May Pakiusap sa mga Fans

Kapamilya Primetime Bida series Princess and I premiered last April 16 and Kathryn Bernardo is excited to see the product of their labor these past few months which included shooting scenes abroad for the fairytale-like show.  “Excited ako and siyempre and kinakabahan kasi first time ko mag-isa, hiwalay kami ni Julia kaya excited din ako. Pati yung mga friends ko full support din naman gaya nung ginagawa nila before and lahat sila happy din kasi super ganda ng project.”

Kathryn feels that Princess and I viewers will enjoy watching their scenes in Bhutan because of the beautiful scenery and colorful costumes. The storyline also promises to be very fun and entertaining for all ages. “Yung story it’s very light lang kasi so yan siguro yung mag-ba-balance sa Primetime programming para maging masaya naman sila (laughs) at saka parang Princess Diaries na Cinderella yung peg namin,” she relates.

The young star also says she is not feeling too stressed because she has already been able to catch up on sleep. “Hindi ako stressed hindi kasi nakapahinga ako nung Holy Week tapos parang back to work na talaga ngayon and okay lang sa akin mag every day taping na kasi konti pa lang din yung mga na-ko-close namin na sequences so para mas maging madali para sa amin,” she tells us.

The 16-year-old actress also mentions that although she has finished taping most of her sequences with Enrique Gil (during their two-week stay in Bhutan) and local shots in Manila with Khalil Ramos, she has yet to work on her sequences with her former Growing Up partner Daniel Padilla. Kathryn also shares that after spending more time with them, she has discovered new traits between her two new leading men. “Makulit rin pala si Khalil. Basta parang siyang baby (laughs). Ewan ko ang cute lang niya kasi talaga. (laughs) lahat kami na-kyu-cute-an tapos si Quen super saya kasama and maingay, makulit, ganyan si Enrique,” she admits.

Kathryn also hopes that fans of her love team partnership with her three leading men will support the soap opera as a whole and not just quarrel over who she will end up with in the story. She adds that she tries to be fair in giving attention to all her fans and not favor just one group. “Sana huwag sila mag-anuhan (laughs). Siyempre dapat equal lang yung ibigay mong attention sa kanila, walang lalamang, walang ma-issue and sana wala namang mag-aaway.”
