Three months since she broke up with actor John Lloyd Cruz, actress Shaina Magdayao has never showed bitterness despite the barrage of intrigues surrounding their relationship, according to her sister Vina Morales.
"When she's asked [about her past relationship], she answers it well at walang siyang sinasabi. I'm just really proud of her, that she's becoming a better Shaina," Morales said of her sister on Tuesday during the 14th anniversary celebration of her salon business Ystilo.
"Marami pa siyang pagdadaanan talaga -- marami pang pain, masasaktan pa siya, maloloko siya. It's part of life. Siguro ang importante sa kanya, ang nakikita ko, 'yung acceptance niya, hindi siya naging bitter," Morales added.
Morales' support for Magdayao comes amid reports of a blooming relationship between Magdayao's former boyfriend and actress Angelica Panganiban.
Although Panganiban had earlier said she and Cruz were only friends, the sexy comedienne recently hinted at a growing relationship with the dramatic actor through a post on micro-blogging site Twitter.
In the tweet, Panganiban shared a photo of her and Cruz, with the caption: "Welcome, happiness. Joy, pursued. Welcome, everyone. Especially those who are smiling out of warmth."
In May, Magdayao confirmed rumors of her breakup with Cruz, after he was linked to the separation of Panganiban with her former boyfriend, actor Derek Ramsay.
"Hindi siya naging bitter sa mga nangyari sa buhay, at wala siyang comment, maski maraming nagsasalita," Morales said of Magdayao.
"I know maraming mga intriga, at alam ko maraming nagsasalita, at may nagsasabi ng totoo at may nagsasabi ng hindi totoo, but I'm really proud of her that she's not talking about it," Morales added.
"[Shaina] has really learned about accepting and un-learning, which is really good. I'm really proud of her."
