Television host and comedian Vice Ganda assured everyone that everything is now okay between him and actress Ai-Ai delas Alas.
In an interview with “The Buzz” on Sunday, Vice Ganda debunked rumors of any lingering tensions between him and delas Alas when the comedienne guested on “It’s Showtime” recently.
Vice Ganda said he was informed that day that delas Alas would be at the show and was delighted about the news.
Vice Ganda said he and delas Alas embraced when they saw each other inside the studio.
Nandoon na ako, naka-stand by ako, doon din pala siya manggagaling,” he said.
Ai!’ Sabi niya ‘Ay bakla nandito ka pala.’ Tapos chikahan kami agad,” Vice Ganda added.
According to the “It’s Showtime” host, he is glad to have restored his relationship with delas Alas as if they did not have any misunderstanding in the past.
“Sobrang okay po. Ang sarap ng pakiramdam kasi wala akong naramdaman kahit konting bahid na may pinagdaanan kaming hindi maganda noong nakaraan,” he said.
‘I should drive my own life’
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda shared that just like any other person, he also gets affected when people say bad things about him. He said he also has his down moments.
Kapag gusto kong umiyak, iiyak ako,” he said.
Vice Ganda, however, stressed that he won’t allow anything or anyone to dictate what he should feel.
I should drive my own life. Ako dapat yung nagdedesisyon kung anong lugar or anong daan ang tatahakin ko,” he explained.
Vice Ganda said he’s aware that he cannot please everyone but what matters to him is the love of his family.
“It matters to me [na some people don’t like me] pero hindi ganoon kalaki ang bearing noon sa kasiyahan ko. Ang importante, at the end of the day, masiguro sa sarili ko na mahal ko ang sarili ko at mahal pa rin ako ng pamilya ko,” he said.
